SightLogix lands World Trade Center contract
ORLANDO--SightLogix on Sept. 19 announced its thermal video surveillance cameras have been deployed to secure the new World Trade Center’s perimeter in New York City.

The announcement brings the company full circle, John Romanowich, SightLogix’s president and CEO, told Security Director News. Romanowich first conceived of the system that would become SightLogix while doing a security survey at the World Trade Center site six months after 9/11 and noting deficiencies in its outdoor video surveillance. In 2004, he launched SightLogix to address the need he saw from the rubble of Ground Zero. “We have brought the technology to where we’ve fulfilled the vision,” Romanowich said.
The deployment includes SightLogix’s next-generation Clear24 thermal imaging cameras, which it showcased on the first day of ASIS 2011.
