LOS ANGELES—Newk’s Express Café is in the process of installing its new surveillance and loss prevention system at restaurants in 11 states.

DTT, a California company specializing in digital surveillance in the restaurant and hospitality industries that made the Inc. 5000 list this year, was selected to provide the system, which will include POS integration, SmartAudit reports and other loss-prevention services.

Newk’s Director of IT Adam Karveller credited DTT’s support for his company’s training needs for the selection. “DTT’s Customer Service and Loss Prevention team allows our management team to focus on operations by leveraging their product experts to retrieve and review video, instead of spending hours reviewing video and training new team members,” he said in a prepared statement.
