YARMOUTH, Maine—Who will be the leaders of security in 2020? 2040? They are likely among us today and we need your help identifying them. Security Director News is asking for nominations for our "20 Under 40" list, which will recognize security's current and future leaders who are age 40 or younger.

Who are the young, talented employees who will step up to senior-level security positions in the coming years? Who are the young individuals who are already at the forefront of the industry?

If you know an individual who fits this description, please complete the online survey. Only security end users who were born in 1972 or later are eligible. Those chosen for the SDN 20 under 40 list will display excellent leadership qualities, technical know-how, business sense and a commitment to the security industry. It is not necessary for the individual to have any specific title or responsibility within a company. Individuals featured in Security Director News' past "20 Under 40" features are not eligible.

The deadline for nominations is Oct. 19, 2011.

The Security Director News staff, in consultation with industry members, will select the 20 individuals we feel best represent the future of the security industry and profile them on our website (www.securitydirectornews.com) in December.

For an opportunity to rub elbows with these up-and-coming security leaders, Security Director News and Security Systems News will host a "20 Under 40" reception at our TechSec conference, which will take place Feb, 7-8, 2012 in Delray Beach, Fla.
