ISC East lands Giuliani as keynote
NORWALK, Conn.--Reed Exhibitions, based here and organizers of ISC East, announced last week that Rudy Giuliani, recent presidential candidate and former mayor of New York City, will offer the ISC East keynote address at 11 a.m. on Oct. 29, at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York.

Giuliani has a wide-ranging background in security, having had to deal with the tragedies of Sept. 11, 2001 and the resulting new security measures, as mayor of New York, as well as having founded security consulting firm Giuliani Partners and articulating a national security plan as a presidential candidate. His address will focus on the changing face of the security industry, crisis management, and successful leadership practices.

According to a Reed press release, "Giuliani was selected to speak at ISC East because of his vast knowledge of New York City's infrastructure, how it operates, as well as his leadership role in rebuilding and revitalizing New York City in the wake of September 11. The experience he had as mayor during such a trying period has provided him with immense insight in running a city in a crisis situation."
